I’m Grace Iglesias Fernandez – lots of people get my last name wrong so don’t worry about it too much. I can just be Grace. Like Cher or Beyonce. Or Thor.
I’m a half British, half Spanish gal from the south of England. I was born in the UK but I grew up as a citizen of the world, spending some of my childhood in Chicago, some in Lisbon and then rest in England. Now I live in Surrey with my boyfriend, Rich, and my Patterdale Terrier puppy, Lola.
The Yum Club was created to share my love of decorated sugar cookies in Jan 2019 and has grown into my little business baby, with my cookies sitting on events tables and being given as gifts all over the UK (and some internationally too!).
I also love to share my most favourite recipes – the kind that make you feel snuggly inside, like you’re in your favourite PJs, wrapped in a fluffy blanket on the sofa, watching the Food Network with a cup of hot chocolate at 6pm on a Sunday before a bank holiday Monday… that’s my comfy place anyway. I’m a mega homebody – I love to write, cook and bake, plus in another one of my worlds, I perform & direct local community Musical Theatre and I’m a psychotherapist in training!
